Root Canal Treatment

Have you been told that a root canal is painful or requires multiple sessions?
At our clinics, we completely change this perception.

We use advanced techniques to treat the root with precision in just one session – in most cases – and without pain.

A root canal treatment (Root Canal Treatment) is not just about cleaning the root of the tooth; it’s a precise process that requires clear vision, sterile tools, and an advanced filling system… and all of this is provided to you at the highest level.

Why are we distinguished in root canal treatment?

CBCT 3D Imaging to analyze the shape of the roots and provide accurate diagnosis before starting treatment
One session in most cases thanks to modern devices and advanced filling systems
High-quality filling and sterilization materials that reduce failure rates and prevent future infections
The ability to follow up on the condition and perform cosmetic treatment on the same day with a cosmetic filling or permanent crown

Who is root canal treatment suitable for?

• Those who experience severe or throbbing pain in a tooth
• Those with deep cavities or fractures reaching the nerve
• Those who have had trauma or injury to their front teeth
• Those who wish to preserve their natural teeth for as long as possible

Not always. If the filling is not perfect but there are no symptoms like pain, abscess, or bone infection beneath the tooth, we can monitor the situation without redoing the treatment.
Redoing a root canal is only necessary if a problem appears that affects the tooth or causes pain for the patient.

The main difference is in the depth of the decay and how close it is to the tooth's nerve:

Regular cosmetic fillings: Used when the decay is superficial or moderate, away from the nerve. The affected part is cleaned, and the tooth is filled with a cosmetic material that preserves its natural appearance.

Root canal fillings: Necessary if the decay has reached the nerve. In this case, we need to clean the nerve canals precisely, then seal the tooth with an internal and external filling.
Each case is evaluated with X-rays and clinical examination to determine the most suitable treatment.

Root canal treatment is usually completed in one session. However, in cases of severe inflammation or pus, the tooth may require two sessions.

For back teeth, we usually recommend a crown after root canal treatment, as they bear more chewing pressure.
For front teeth, a cosmetic filling may be sufficient if the tooth structure is strong.
The final decision depends on the condition of the tooth after the root canal treatment. We assess the remaining part of the tooth – if it's weak or broken, a crown is recommended to protect it. If the structure is strong, a cosmetic filling may suffice.
The assessment is done accurately based on X-rays and direct examination.

Pain after a root canal is not normal and requires a thorough evaluation. We start by taking 2D and 3D X-rays to determine the cause, whether it’s a leakage in the filling, an incompletely cleaned canal, or an infection under the tooth.
In some cases, we may need to remove the old filling and redo the root canal treatment precisely to ensure the patient’s comfort and complete healing.
If you are experiencing persistent pain, book an appointment now to check the health of your tooth and begin the appropriate treatment.

Not at all! Root canal treatment is performed under local anesthesia, so there's no pain. With the use of modern equipment, the procedure has become much faster and more comfortable, and the result is effective without any suffering. If you have pain or inflammation, don’t hesitate – root canal treatment is the solution, not a cause for concern!

Yes, there is a special root canal treatment for children, and it is performed slightly differently, depending on the child's age and the type of tooth.

Yes, if the overall condition is stable, multiple teeth can be treated in one session, especially for patients coming from abroad.

With proper care, a tooth can last many years, especially if a crown or suitable covering is placed.
